IGNITE: Prescribed Fire Skills Training

April 3rd, 4th, and 5th

Siskiyou Field Institute in Selma

This multi day training is for anyone who wants to learn about the intentional use of fire for healthy landscapes and safer communities. Experienced instructors will teach hands-on skills including: weather monitoring, equipment use, ignition techniques, and basic burn planning. Additional talks will cover fire science, Indigenous cultural burning, and more.
